On a personal preference note: My prescription is extreme so I usually pick the highest index to minimize weight and size but I found the 1.67 to have a bigger visual ‘sweet spot’ without a noticeable weight penalty. Nice lenses. Lightweight. I prefer these to the 1.7 — bigger ‘sweet spot’ with less of the peripheral distortion that come with high index lenses.
